GeoMap Systems was born from a research initiative at UCL in order to seek and explore new methods to create new geospatial products by meeting the requirements of a broad end-user community.
Geospatial technologies have been developing rapidly in the last few years. Applications are serving a growing expert community in many areas, but haven’t yet reached the fast consumer applications found in emerging technologies. As network technologies and data distribution services continue to mature, GeoMap Systems is committed to closing the gap between expert applications and the requirements of a fast consumer market.

In order to achieve a high degree of automation and efficiency Geomap Systems takes advantage of various advanced technologies including image interpretation techniques, automated feature extraction and data fusion techniques.
