Nick has a strong technical expertise in the geospatial industry with experience in managing large and diverse projects and a strong understanding of the industry’s dynamics. Apart from the management experience, Nick is bringing also business development and financial skills.
His studies include a BSc degree in Land Surveying from the Technological Institute of Athens and a MSc degree, awarded with distinction, in Photogrammetry with Remote Sensing from UCL. He is currently also pursuing a PhD degree at the University of Nottingham in the Geospatial field. His working experience includes several years of freelance consultancy for mapping companies and two years as a Geospatial Analyst, responsible for managing the entire workflow of data capture and product delivery. He has been awarded with several scholarships for his innovative solution for automatic production of 3D City Models from leading institutions including The Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society and The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

Jochen has a very strong technical and research background as well as an in-depth knowledge of how the industry is operating. He has been involved in leading research projects with the German Remote Sensing Data Center at DLR and has acquired a wide range of experience across the geoinformatics industry working with leading research organizations in the UK.
Jochen acquired his bachelors degree in Remote Sensing and GIS from Bath Spa University and holds a masters in Satellite Positioning Technology from the University of Nottingham. Since he finished his masters degree Jochen has been involved in leading research activities within the University of Nottingham and is completing his PhD studies in floodplain characterization and flood modelling. Jochen is bringing extensive research and technical skills and is responsible for all aspects of research & development.
